發佈於 2022-06-28 12:40:13

The Ministry of Economic Affairs says large industrial (工業的) consumers will see their electricity rates rise by 15-per cent from July 1.

The announcement of the price hike follows a meeting of the ministry's electricity rate review committee.

The changes mean that some 22,000 large industrial users will have to pay 15-per cent more for high-voltage and ultra-high voltage electricity.

However, 97-per cent of households will not see any change to their electricity rates and the rate hikes will also not apply to small businesses, low-voltage consumers and schools at high school level and below.

The Public Security Directorate says a gas tank sprung a leak Monday while being transported.

It did not identify the contents of the tanker.
