Australia's laws forcing Google and Facebook to pay for news is ready to take effect.
Parliament today passed amendments to the News Media Bargaining Code agreed between Treasurer Josh Frydenberg and Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg on Tuesday.
The changes would give digital platforms one month's notice before they are formally designated (指定的) under the code.

In return for the changes, Facebook agreed to lift a ban on Australians accessing and sharing news.

Transport officials says work to move some Taiwan Railways Administration
stations underground in Taoyuan will begin in April of next year.
The Railway Bureau says the move is expected to contribute to swifter rail
transit in northern Taiwan.
The two-phase project will see Taoyuan, Zhongli and Neili stations move
underground by 2029.

While another five underground stations will be added to the line and its

route from the existing Taoyuan Airport metro via Zhongli Station, which is
expected be completed in 2028.
