The Cabinet has approved three amendments to laws related to public servant
pensions.
The move is aimed at allowing retired government officials, teachers and
military personnel to continue receiving their monthly pensions if they take
up employment in the private sector.

The amendments will also make all pension fund payouts to civil servants,

- Mexico Launches Cable-Car Line

Mexico City has launched the first of what it hopes will be several cable-car
lines in the poorer outskirts of the city of 9 million.
The cars are seen as a cheaper (便宜的，不貴的) way to reach communities
located high up on hillsides.

By June, the line will run almost 9.2 kilometers from Cuautepec, a working
class neighborhood on the northern edge of Mexico City, to the nearest subway
and bus station.
The cars run on electricity and can travel about 20 kilometer per hour, far
