The CECC says people driving alone in their private vehicles don’t need to
wear facemasks.
But if there’re two or more people in the car, officials still suggest they
wear masks.
Responding to some mayors’ announcements that people will be fined on the
spot if they’re going out and about without masks, the Central Epidemic
Command Center says law enforcement personnel should try persuading
(勸服；說服) people before handing out penalties.

- Three Dead After Japanese Vessel And Russian Freighter Collide

Three crew members of a Japanese fishing vessel (魚船) have died after a
collision with a Russian freighter (貨輪).
The collision occurred in the Sea of Okhotsk, north of Japan's Hokkaido
island, and Japan's government spokesman says the Japanese vessel overturned
following the collision.
