The bellwether electronics sector was the focus for investors during the session, but market watchers say turnover was still moderate as sentiment remains cautious about global rate hike cycles and Russia's war Ukraine.

Questions about Le Pen's ties to Moscow arose during her losing presidential bid five years ago and again amid Russian President Vladimir Putin's war in Ukraine, which she has condemned.
