The Tai-Ex lost ground once again on Tuesday after reversing (顛倒,翻轉) early gains as the bellwether electronics sector faced profit taking that pushed the broader market into negative territory.

Although old economy stocks were largely mixed throughout the session, shipping stocks staged a strong technical rebound, to help the main board from falling further.
