Annual LGBTQ Pride Parade to Move Online

發佈於 2021-09-10 10:27:03

The Taiwan Rainbow Civil Action Association says this year's Taiwan Pride Parade will be held online due to the current coronavirus restrictions.

According to the association, it was decided to make this year's parade a virtual only event as just the number of volunteers would violate (違反) crowd regulations imposed by the Central Epidemic Command Center.

Attendees will be able to check into the event while indicating which city or county in Taiwan they are participating from and watch performances by celebrities and members of the L-G-B-T-Q community.

The virtual Taiwan Pride Parade will be taking place on October 30.

Smoke alarms went off at the Russian segment of the International Space Station in the early hours of Thursday, and the crew reported noticing smoke and the smell of burnt plastic.

Russia's space agency Roscosmos said the incident took place in the Russian-built Zvezda module and occurred as the station's batteries were being recharged.

According to Roscosmos, the crew activated (啟用) air filters and returned to their ``night rest'' once the air quality was back to normal.

The crew will proceed with a space walk today as planned.
