Nearly 20 French senators, headed by French-Taiwan Friendship Group Chair
Alain Richard, have put forth (提出（想法或計劃）) a proposal calling on the
government to further support Taiwan's participation in international
organizations.
The proposal urged the French government to take diplomatic steps in support
of Taiwan's participation in such international organizations as the World
Health Assembly and the International Civil Aviation Organization.
It also called for increased support for Taiwan's participation in the United
Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and Interpol.

The Taiwan Water Corporation says water stations are prepared, as Kaohsiung
is set for water restrictions tomorrow.
Officials say 400 water containers, each holding 1 to 2 tons of water, have
been set up around the Zuo-ying, Da-she, and Ren-wu Districts.

The southern city is switching into an orange alert for water supplies
starting April 1st, meaning it is setting limits on total water consumption
and reducing water pressure to nonessential water users, such as swimming

Officials say they're also prepared to make use of 151 deep water wells if
necessary.
The city government has also set up a drought response center to expedite
