Big data shows that COVID-19 has had a big impact onTaiwanese people's
travel habits.
According to a new report published by Google, public transport usage (使用)
dropped 57 percent last year compared to pre-pandemic levels.

Activity at leisure centers and parks were almost halved, while activity in
residential areas increased by almost 20 percent.

A group of U-S Congressional Representatives have reintroduced the Taiwan Defense Act, which seeks to ensure (確保；保證) that the U-S maintains the ability to defeat any attempted Chinese invasion of the island.
