臺北動物園宣布斑馬寶寶出生

The Taipei Zoo has revealed the birth of another lockdown baby.
Zoo officials say a baby Chapman's Zebra was born earlier this month, and is
now big enough to follow its mother out into the enclosure (圍欄).
Since the zoo closed its doors to visitors in mid-May because of the level-3
coronavirus restrictions, many animals have enjoyed the peace and quiet, and
started exhibiting mating behavior.

Laughing kookaburra and Palawan-peacock-pheasant have reproduced for the
first time at the Zoo, while black-capped squirrel monkey and meerkat also
gave birth.
The Zoo will reopen to visitors this Sunday, but many exhibits and stores
will remain closed.
A maximum of 3,600 people will be allowed in each day.
Masks will still be required at all times.
Laughing kookaburra：笑翠鳥。笑翠鳥，學名：Dacelo，又稱柯卡布拉（kookaburra），是澳洲及新幾內亞特有的一屬大型的陸生翠鳥。牠們最特別的是其叫聲，就像是人的笑聲。牠們棲息在潮濕森林至乾旱大草原，但也有棲息在市郊及住宅區的。笑翠鳥屬是肉食性的。牠們吃蜥蜴、蛇、昆蟲、老鼠、其他細小的鳥類及肉類。牠們也會接收人類的餵飼，但是一般並不建議餵飼牠們，因單單肉類並沒有牠們足夠的養份。笑翠鳥屬是陸生的，一般會與上一季節出生的雛鳥一同生活。牠們會唱歌來定自己的領地。
Palawan-peacock-pheasant：巴拉望孔雀雉。身形中等，雄鳥有直立的冠，眼睛上有白紋，身體呈金屬綠及黑色。尾羽有藍綠色的大眼斑點，示愛時可以展開成扇狀。雌鳥較雄鳥細小。雌鳥呈深褐色，冠較短，喉嚨、頰及眼眶呈白色。

black-capped squirrel monkey：黑冠松鼠猴，是南美洲中部熱帶雨林中的小型靈長類動物，樹棲型的黑冠松鼠猴，經常成群結隊地在樹冠頂層或樹冠中部覓食、活動，因此保育員在照養環境內，特別布置了竹子及麻繩等豐富化設施，民眾來到兒童動物區，就可以看見身手矯健、穿梭其中的黑冠松鼠猴。
meerkat：狐獴。狐獴有著有力、2公分長、彎曲的爪子，可用來挖洞獵食和調整牠們的地底洞穴，牠們在每隻腳上有四根腳趾和長細的肢體。毛皮的顏色通常是淺黃棕色參雜著灰、古銅或微帶銀的棕色，牠們有著短平行的條紋橫過牠們的背，這些條紋從尾巴的基部延伸到肩且每隻皆不同。當牠們用後腳站立時，狐獴利用腹部這塊黑色區域吸收太陽的熱，這通常是牠們在寒冷的沙漠夜晚之後晨間做的第一件事以弄暖身體。

2. Kuo Hsing-chun Wins Taiwan's First Gold at Tokyo Games
郭婞淳在東京奧運會上奪得臺灣第一面金牌
內文：
Weightlifter Kuo Hsing-chun has won Taiwan's first gold medal at the Tokyo
Games and has set new Olympic records in the women's 59-kilogram weight
class.
Kuo finished in the 59-kilogram category with acombined lift of
236-kilograms -- lifting 103-kilograms in the snatch (抓舉) and 133-kilograms
in the clean and jerk (挺舉).
Kuo's snatch, clean and jerk, and combined lifts were all Olympic records.

combined：總和（組合）奧林匹克舉重項目分為抓舉(Snatch) 與挺舉 (Clean&Jerk)，並依兩個單項與總和各自頒發三種獎牌，其中總和項目規定必須兩項都要有成績否則不予計算。

clean and jerk：挺舉（clean and jerk：乾淨和混蛋）例句：Weightlifting consists of two movements executed in a standard order : first the snatch and then the clean and jerk 。舉重包括兩個按標準順序執行的動作：抓起，平衡並舉起。
Meanwhile, Weightlifter Chen Wen-hui has won bronze in the women's 64-kilogram weightclass.
The 24-year-old finished with a combined lift of 230-kilograms --
103-kilograms in the snatch and 127-kilograms in the clean and jerk.
Taiwan is currently sitting in 13th place in the Tokyo Olympics medals table
(奧運獎牌表) with one gold, two silver and three bronze.
