Gas Prices Set For Decline Next Week

發佈於 2021-07-23 13:19:04

Fuel prices may be headed in different directions next week

The cost of gasoline (汽油) is forecast to fall by $0.3-NT per liter starting Monday, but diesel (柴油) is set to see a rise of $0.1-NT per liter.

This would leave 95-unleaded at $29.8NT per liter, while super diesel would cost $25.8NT per liter.

Analysts say increased output from oil-producing nations and the resurgence of COVID-19 in Asia has led to a dip in international crude oil prices.

Official price adjustments will be announced by CPC Corporation on Sunday.

Washington Post (華盛頓郵報) politics reporter Felicia Sonmez has sued (起訴) the paper and several of its current and former editors for discriminating against her as a victim of sexual assault.

In a suit filed Wednesday in D.C. Superior Court, Sonmez says she was not allowed to report on sexual misconduct and frequently taken off stories after she publicly spoke out about her own experience.

Sonmez says she suffered humiliation, emotional distress, and physical pain because of the alleged discriminatory conduct, which she said violated the D.C. Human Rights Act.

Washington Post spokesperson Kris Coratti declined to comment on the suit.
